what web proxy setting to you use from a college Mac

Many Mac OS web browsers cannot get the web proxy setting from the operating system and need to have the setting entered manually. Of the four web browsers installed as standard on the college macs only Safari and Camino can get the proxy settings from the OS, Firefox and Opera need the proxy setting to be entered in their preferences window.

The proxy settings for http and https are
