Image size calculator

This will calculate to amount of RAM an image would use while being edited or printed. This assumes your image has only one layer and is in RGB mode. Converting an image to CMYK mode will increase its size in memory by one third. Adding a layer to an image in PhotoShop can increase the size of the image by as much as 100%, using certain PhotoShop filters can require 10 times as much memory as the size of the file.
