You can access to our server from anywhere that has Internet access, just connect to your ISP and enter our address.

Your account also gives you the ability to have your own web site. There is a folder called 'Sites' in your folder in the 'Users' share point, this is where you place your web site. Your web sites address is '/~***/' were *** is your login name. The tilda '~' is very important, it won't work without it.

There are 8 folders in your folder in the 'Users' share point.

Desktop
Documents
Library
Movies
Music
Pictures
Public
Sites
Two of these ('Desktop' and 'Library') are special folders that will be used when we install Mac OS X on the MacAdmin client Macs next year, you should not use these yourself. You can store anything you want in 'Documents', 'Movies', 'Music' and 'Pictures'. The 'Sites' folder contains your web site. The 'Public' folder is readable by anybody but only you can put files in it, use this to share data with other users.
